Adjunct Trauma Therapy

What Should I Expect in
Adjunct Trauma Therapy?

Adjunct Trauma Therapy is a good choice if you’re already seeing a licensed therapist for talk therapy. As an Adjunct Trauma Therapist, Kim works together with your current therapist so the treatment focuses on helping you move past the lasting effects of trauma without duplicating the goals you and your therapist are working towards. This kind of adjunct therapy supports the important work you’re doing in and between your regular sessions.

Your Adjunct Trauma Therapy Journey:

12 sessions of one-on-one therapy with Kim over 12 weeks (through a secure, HIPAA-compliant app)

What you’ll get:

  • Trauma-focused, personalized therapy using methods that work

  • Techniques pulled from EMDR, neuropsychology, Polyvagal Theory, body-based (somatic) therapy, Internal Family Systems, and spiritual approaches to help your body and mind let go of trauma and build a healthier self-image

  • A safe, judgment-free space to talk about what you need, want, or feel stuck on

How the therapy works (phases):

  1. De-conditioning: Stop repeating old trauma-based patterns

  2. Re-conditioning: Practice new ways of thinking and responding that open up possibilities

  3. Integration: Build resources, strengthen access to your intuition, and make gains stick

  4. Devotional practice & routine: Create steady habits that support your healing
